Shirley Angrimson, of Montevideo, died on Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Chippewa County- Montevideo Hospital at the age of 80. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Donald S. McKee officiating. Interment will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon and evening with the family present from 5:30 - 7 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Shirley Margaret (Ervin) Angrimson was born on July 13, 1928 in Montevideo, MN to Clifford and Alicia (Stark) Ervin. She attended rural schools and was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo. On September 2, 1950 she was united in marriage to Curtis Angrimson. She was a lifelong resident of the Montevideo area and worked in several restaurants with the final 32 years of her employment at Deb's Supper Club. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and participated in its women's groups. She enjoyed music, singing, dancing, bowling, card playing, cooking, baking and flower gardening. She was a real "people" person, and loved to be around people, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three children: Dwight (and Faye) Angrimson of Taunton, MN, Colleen (and Lon) Redel of Montevideo and Lynn (and Marc) Rodeberg of Montevideo; eight grandchildren: Tasha Redel (and Eric Hafften), Amy Patrick, Jessica (and Keith) Patrick, Mindy Rodeberg, Joshua (and Jessica) Rodeberg, Shaun Rodeberg, Angie (and Ryan) Sussner, and Stephanie (and Jason) Andrews; six great-grandchildren: Masyn, Tyson, Blake, Jada; Britany and Blake; three sisters: Jean Lundy of Watertown, SD, Vera (and Bob) Farrell of Mountville, PA, and Janice (and Frances) Lund of Oregon City, OR; a brother-in-law, Ray Marholz of Montevideo; a sister-in-law, Shirley Ervin of Maynard, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Howard Ervin; a sister, Mary Jane Marholz; and by a nephew, Bryan Lund.
