Shirley Enstad, of Montevideo, died on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 70. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 2:00 P.M at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo with Rev. Gwen Bohlke officiating. Interment will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens of rural Montevideo. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. Shirley Jean (Anderson) Enstad was born on January 7, 1942 in Brooten, MN to Raymond and Viola (Mickels) Anderson. As a child she moved with her family to Montevideo. On January 12, 1957 she was united in marriage to Allen Enstad in Sacred Heart, MN. They made their home in Granite Falls where she worked as a nursing assistant at the Granite Falls Hospital. Her hobby was spending time with her family. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Mike Enstad of Granite Falls, MN, Jeff (and Colleen) Enstad of Watertown, SD, Doug (and Julie) Enstad of Big Stone, SD, Curt (and Theresa) Enstad of Willmar, MN, Rick (and Christy) Enstad of Benson, MN, and Shelly (and Jason) Seubert of Montevideo, MN; seventeen grandchildren: Paul Enstad, Bryan Enstad, Trenton Enstad, Blake Enstad, Brad Enstad, Dan Enstad, Jessica Enstad, Jocelyn Shoutz, Alicia Enstad, Anthony Enstad, Bryce Enstad, Keith Boysen, Kelsey Boysen, and Jacey Seubert, Rachel Behlings and Matthew Behlings; four great-grandchildren: Mackenzie and Madison Enstad and Colin and Savannah Seidell. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Carl Engelke; her husband, Allen in 2010; a granddaughter, Trista Enstad.; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Shoutz.
