Vanessa Hatch of Montevideo died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 18. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Watson Evangelical Church in Watson. Pastor Robert Buchanen will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo. Vanessa Jean Hatch was born June 28, 1991 in St. Paul, MN. She moved with her family to the Montevideo area. She attended school in Maynard and Montevideo and had been attending the ALC in Montevideo where she would have graduated this year. She enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with her friends. Vanessa liked people and was always smiling. She is survived by her father, Stan Hatch and step-mother Bobbi; six brothers: Jeffrey, John Masey, Travis Lenander, Stan Hatch, Jr., Tom Robbins, and Harley Hatch; grandma Pearl Barter; grandma Margaret Gates, and grandpa Bob Sheridan; her boyfriend, Josh Alm; and various aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: William and Margaret Hatch.
