Victor Wollschleger, of Montevideo, died on Saturday March 25, 1995 at his home at the age of 72.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday March 28, 1995 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Douglas Olson & Rev. Warren Broughton officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening and with the family from 5 - 8 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Victor Arnold Wollschleger was born on October 14, 1922 in Havelock Township of Chippewa Co., MN, to Erick and Alma (Fleuter) Wollschlager. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran of Havelock and confirmed at Buffalo Lake Lutheran Church. He attended rural schools. He served in the US Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a lifelong resident of the Montevideo area and worked for many years for Minnesota Valley Construction as a gravel tester. He was a member of the VFW in Montevideo and the Christian Labor Union.
He is survived by brothers - Morris Wollschlager of Coon Rapids, MN. and Ronald (Connie) Wollschlager of Montevideo, MN; by sisters - Clara Kingsbeck of Minneapolis, MN and Margaret Wollschlager of Minneapolis, MN; as well as by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Erick in 1976 and by his mother Alma on March 6 of this year.
