William Buseman died peacefully surrounded by his family Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 85.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Jeff Fitzkappes will officiate and interment will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, from 5-7:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo and at the church for one hour before services on Friday.
William Henry Buseman was born February 5, 1932 at Pipestone, MN the son of Henry and Ruth (Erickson) Buseman. He was baptized February 28, 1932 in Pipestone and confirmed May 25, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo. He attended school in Montevideo. Bill was united in marriage with Donna Anderson September 27, 1952 in Montevideo. They made their home in Montevideo. He worked at Monte Block & Tile, Alumax, the Beet Plant, and Friendship Homes. Bill enjoyed hunting, bowling, riding horses, playing cards and reading Western books. He served on the Rescue Squad for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; six children: Richard (Debra) Buseman of Montevideo, Robert (Marcia) Buseman of Montevideo, Timothy Buseman of Montevideo, Randy (Karen) Buseman of Alexandria, Delos (Yvonne) Buseman of Montevideo, and Joey (Karla) Buseman of Montevideo; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Joanne Jorgenson of Montevideo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a grandson, Christopher Buseman; daughter-in-law, Nettie Buseman; a sister, Betty (Bernard) Allickson; a brother, George (Carol) Buseman; and a brother-in-law, Larry Jorgenson.
