Joyce Stevens

Joyce Stevens died Friday, June 17, 2022 at her home in Montevideo at the age of 81.

Private services will be held at later date. Arrangements are with Anderson – TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Joyce Diane (Triggs) Stevens was born in Montevideo, MN on November 14, 1940 to Harold and Alma (Torgerson) Triggs.  She attended and graduated from Appleton High School.  Following high school, she attended a secretarial program in Granite Falls, Willmar Junior College, and St. Cloud State.  She married Amos “Chuck” Stevens in Las Vegas in August of 1957, to this union three children were born: Julie, Michael, and Jillianne. Joyce worked as the personnel director of Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo for 41 years before retiring.

Joyce is survived by her children, Julie and Michael; granddog, Roxie; and other relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathleen Marquardt; and daughter, Jillianne.
